I hope you all got the Zong MMS settings working on your Android phones. And with that, I forgot to share the GPRS/EDGE settings for Zong users on Android phones.

Below are the GPRS/EDGE settings you need for Zong on Android.

Follow the steps below to get your GPRS/EDGE working on your Android phone!

Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks >Access Point Names.
Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
Now use the following settings:
Name: Zong Internet (anything you like)
APN: zonginternet
MCC: 410 (should be there by default)
MNC: 01 (use whatever is there by default)
You can leave all the other fields blank as they are and save these pisettings.

Ufone GPRS/EDGE Settings for Android Phones

So, we have the GPRS/EDGE settings for Mobilink, Telenor and Zong. Only two left, Ufone and Warid. Let’s go with Ufone first.

Ufone GPRS/EDGE settings were sent to me, thanks to my friend, Faizan Ul Ahmad Khan!

Follow the steps below to get GPRS/EDGE working on your Android phone!

Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks >Access Point Names.
Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
Now use the following settings:
Name: Ufone Internet (anything you like)
APN: ufone.internet
MCC: 410 (should be there by default)
MNC: 01 (use whatever is there by default)
You can leave all the other fields blank as they are and save these settings.

Telenor GPRS/EDGE Settings for Android Phones

Earlier today, I shared Mobilink GPRS/EDGE settings for Android phone users. Well, I also found out Telenor’s settings for GPRS/EDGE.

Just follow the steps below to enable Telenor GPRS/EDGE on your Android phones:

Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks >Access Point Names.
Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
Now use the following settings:
Name: Telenor (anything you like)
APN: internet
Proxy: 172.018.019.011
Port: 0 (or 8080)
Username: Telenor (case-sensitive)
Password: Telenor (case-sensitive)
MCC: 410 (should be there by default)
MNC: 06 (use whatever is there by default)

Mobilink GPRS/EDGE Settings for Android Phones

Mobilink Indigo (may be for Jazz users as well) users who have recently got an Android phone might have some trouble setting up the GPRS/EDGE on your phone. Well, I’m a Mobilink user as well and figured out where and what APN settings to put in.

Follow the steps below to get your GPRS/EDGE working on your Android phone!

Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks >Access Point Names.
Press the ‘Menu’ key and select “New APN”.
Now use the following settings:
Name: Mobilink (anything you like)
APN: connect.mobilinkworld.com
MCC: 410 (should be there by default)
MNC: 01 (use whatever is there by default)

Video Call Charges: Rs.2+tax / 5 Minutes

Terms and Conditions

Default rate, Usage without subscribing to bundles will be charged at 10 Paisa (incl. tax) / 10 KB.
There is no tax on internet bundles.
After Rs.50 of daily charging on default rate further usage will be completely free for the rest of the day
Additional usage after bundles are consumed will be charged at 1 Paisa (incl. tax) / 10 KB (valid till bundle end date)
3G bundles will work both on 2G and 3G
2G bundles will not work on Telenor 3G
Video Call
- Charging of Video Call will be done on a 5 Minutes Basis.
- A video call capable phone is required.
- Both parties need to be in 3G area and have 3G Video Call capable phone.
- Please note Hangout, Facetime, Skype and other OTT apps will be charged as per the relevant Data / Internet Rate.
